If you read the name, you might think this beer is one of the many ales brewed in Scotland, but it's not. It is brewed in Belgium, and this adds a particular flavour to the typical Scottish ale type, getting the best of both countries. After you poured it, you'll see it has a ruby colour with a nice dense head. Smelling it you can enjoy a very complex aroma. The taste is sightly sweet but very well balanced so, even if it's a strong beer (about 8.6 %), you'll hardly notice it. This beer is a pure enjoyment and you will experience a sightly different taste each drop thanks to its complexity.
